Contraindications for Breathwork Breathwork may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions. Please consult a healthcare provider if you have any of the following: Pregnancy (especially first trimester) Severe cardiovascular conditions (e.g., heart disease, high blood pressure) Severe mental health conditions (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe anxiety) Epilepsy or seizure disorders Recent surgeries (especially abdominal or chest) Asthma (if uncontrolled) Severe respiratory conditions (e.g., COPD, emphysema) History of panic attacks (without proper support) Detached retina or eye conditions History of stroke Substance abuse or dependency Severe trauma or PTSD (without support) Acute illness or fever Uncontrolled diabetes Fainting or dizziness issues Please ensure you are in good health and comfortable with breathwork practices. If you’re unsure, consult your healthcare provider and speak with your facilitator beforehand. Your safety is our priority.
